Mapitsi and Thabo “Tbose” Maputla, Skeem Saam’s fan favorite couple, have been looking for a nanny for their newborn baby because her maternity leave is coming to an end.

According to TV SA, the couple’s nanny, Sis Bertha (Julia Mathe), will make her Skeem Saam debut on Monday, October 21.
This comes after they interviewed several nannies last week and rejected them because they were either too young or too pricey.
The teasers indicate that Mapitsi and Tbose will be speechless when she arrives.
The magazine goes on to say that Bertha is pushy, has a strong and domineering personality, and will cause difficulties for the Turfloop “it” couple.
She will also cause issues for Tbose’s mother and Mapitsi’s mother-in-law, Meikie Maputla (portrayed by Harriet Manamela).
“She has a very traditional view on gender roles within marriage and isn’t afraid to make this known, even though she’s getting paid to keep the kids quiet,” according to the publication.
Mapitsi and Tbose had never had a nanny before because they always lived with the Maputlas.
On September 2, Skeem Saam welcomed a baby boy (Pitsi) to the couple (Mapitsi and Tbose).
SABC1 has announced that Lethabo Matsetela would play the new Pitsi Maputla. Pitsi’s on-screen parents, Hungani Ndlovu (Thabo “Tbose” Maputla) and Mogau Motlhatswi (Mapitsi Maputla), welcomed their new baby, Baby Oratile (Realeboha Khotle).
Season 13 will also include the new four-person family moving out of Meikie’s house and into their new home.
