Former Muvhango actor Lesley Musina and ex-House of Zwide star Warren Masemola are due to appear on the popular SABC1 show Skeem Saam. The channel made the announcement on Wednesday, October 23.
Warren will play Gopane, Smaki’s (Ndivhuwo Ramashia) father. Smaki is a Turfloop High School student who is currently absent. Gopane, a native of Turfloop, had traveled for Johannesburg to work as a cab driver. He has returned to find his missing son.
Warren expressed excitement about joining the show. “It’s just stunning. I genuinely feel like I am in Limpopo. As a city lad who grew up in Tshwane, the set of Skeem Saam makes me feel like I’m back with my people,” he explained. Warren will make his debut on Monday, November 4.
Lesley, on the other hand, will play Fefo, Melita’s (Hellen Motsuki) flashback from the past.
He’ll upend Mr Kgomo (Lebo Oliphant) and Melita’s world.
“Shooting Skeem Saam was a dream come true. What an incredible production. Everyone is very friendly here, and I felt like at home when the actors, crew, and production team greeted me with open arms. “It feels like I’ve been here forever,” he explained.
Lesley will make his debut on Wednesday, November 20.
